Fellowship

The Fellowship Team plans and coordinates fellowship activities at Greenwood Presbyterian Church, in order to build up the Body of Christ and create bonds between the members as we get to know each other and serve the Lord together. The Team plans fellowship activities for each month of the year. Often these socials are related to other ministries of the church, such as the annual Missions Conference, or the "pill packing parties" in preparation for summer missions trips. The Fellowship Team also coordinates the ministry to college students during the school year, with events including a monthly luncheon, welcoming Lander students back to campus in August of each year, and distributing Exam Survival Kits. The work of the Fellowship team in planning and coordinating meals, setting up tables, serving food, and cleaning up afterwards requires not only dedicated service on the part of team members, but also much help from the congregation at large.
